Shipping & Returns Policy

As all products are made to order, there may be a lead time in making your order. Upon receipt of your order and full payment, we will confirm anticipated timescales, when items will be ready for despatch.

When your order is handed over to a carrier you will receive a dispatch confirmation email. Please allow 10 days to pass before getting in touch about any missing orders given the ongoing pressure and delays that our postal system is currently experiencing.

We can offer a rushed dispatch if your order is urgent, please get in touch at hello@tinzis.co.uk to discuss your requirements.  

If you have ordered an item on pre-order your whole order will ship together when everything is in stock (as detailed on the product page) - however, if you need in-stock items sooner then please place 2 separate orders. 

UK delivery

Shipping cost for Mainland UK are based on the current rate via Royal Mail 1st Class & Royal Mail First Class Signed For  

Delivery charges to non -UK Mainland (e.g. Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands etc.) and UK Overseas Territories, will need to be priced separately.

International delivery

International shipping cost varies depending on location, this is calculated at checkout. If you don't see a rate for your shipping destination please email hello@tinzis.co.uk and we'll be happy to help. 

Orders delivered to destinations outside of the mainland UK may be subject to taxes, fees, customs duty, levies or other charges as a result of local legislation or customs formalities. 

The recipient of your order is responsible for all customs formalities for the import of the order, and may be required to pay any additional charges for delivery, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges that may be levied outside mainland UK.

The recipient of the order, not the person placing the order, will typically receive a separate request for payment of these charges when the goods arrive in the country of destination. If you are ordering something to be delivered to someone else, please ensure they’re aware that they’ll be responsible for these additional charges. 

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we are unable to offer any assistance on these processes. We advise that you check any customs formalities and the import charges applicable in any Non-mainland UK Country before ordering from us.

If the recipient wishes to return the product, they must request a refund of the customs duties and tax directly with their local customs office and must present proof of return.

 

GB VAT on Orders from outside mainland UK 

Where you have requested delivery to a non-mainland UK address, the products and the delivery service will be zero-rated  i.e. not subject to UK VAT. However the price paid by you for the products and/or the delivery service will remain the same as shown on the website. As no VAT has been charged there is no tax to reclaim from us.

Address input errors

Please note that we will not be responsible for the cost of postage to re-send any items where the address was entered incorrectly. If you realise that you've made an error in entering any of your details please email hello@tinzis.co.uk asap and we will amend them for you providing your item hasn't already been fulfilled. If your item comes back to us because of an incorrect address we will have to charge to resend it out to you.

Returns

Whilst we hope you’ll love what you’ve ordered, we understand that there may be times when you want to return items.

In order to arrange this, please contact us using our contact form or email us on support@tinzis within 14 days of receiving your order.

The returned items must be in the same condition as when you received them, unopened and in the original packaging.

When returning any items we recommend recorded post and retaining Proof of Postage. We do not accept responsibility for any items that are lost in transit, nor do we cover the cost of returning goods if they are not faulty.

You can return goods for any reason and at any time within 21 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange, providing that you contact us within 14 working days of receiving your order and that the goods are received by us in an unused, undamaged and saleable condition. We will only issue a refund for any original postage cost if the item is faulty.

Refunds will be issued to the payment method used when the order was placed, within 7 days of receiving the returned item(s).

We can not be held responsible for interest charges made by a credit card company whilst waiting for returns to be refunded to your card.

 Our Delivery and Returns Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions accepted at purchase. 

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@tinzis.co.uk If your return is accepted, you will need to return your item back to us at your expense. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
